![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() Jony picked up his first real six string at the age of 10. Since then he has played with many bands of all different calibers over the years – some local, some touring, some all original and some cover bands. He earned his entire living playing music through much of the ‘90s. Jony has played shows from the Desert Southwest to New York City in venues such as Kenny’s Castaways, The Elbow Room, Arlene’s Grocery, and has headlined at CBGB many Saturday nights. His riffs have been heard on the radio and in several movie soundtracks. His style is said to be both full of energy and emotion. He now plays for the joy of playing – and he plays what he wants to play, the way he wants it played. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jerry started his musical career playing guitar in Kentucky in the mid 60`s. His first band was called The Days After, and played the parks and dance clubs in and around Lexington, KY. The Days After evolved from a 3-piece to a 7-piece band, complete with a horn section, called The Cult. They played the high school and college circuit around central KY until 1968. The band broke up when some of the guys went away to school and some joined the army, Jerry taking the latter route. After returning home from the Army he started playing Big Band music in the early 70`s with The Men Of Note. They had players who had played with The Buddy Rich Orchestra, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich and Woody Herman. He then relocated to Texas with his new wife. He continued playing a bit by doing a couple of gigs with Carrol Shelly who had played bass guitar for Ray Price. Jerry has recently played with One Fine Burrito, The Matt Scott Band and Nub Nolan & the All-Star Review. He now brings his talents to The Double Ought Spies. | ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
